The brilliant Dr. Bernard Hastings and his assistant work tirelessly to find a cure for the common cold, but when their funding is unexpectedly cut, Hastings is forced to take a grisly next step…

The Fight Against the Common Cold (2025) was produced as part of my 2nd term at The London Film School. Shot on 16mm film, the story follows an uncompromising and ruthless scientist who removes his student’s body parts to use for testing samples. The film was produced on a budget of just £220 with a crew of fellow LFS students.

The film is completed and available to watch below.
